I would have given this Resort 5 stars, but sadly, here goes.
I was a woman traveling on her own, unfortunately, I was a target for the wait staff as wanting "company" after hours. My husband did not make this trip, and I'm not one to be unfaithful. I'm a light sleeper and was woken by someone trying to come into my room. The first night I disregarded as another guest having the wrong room; however, 2 nights in a row was suspicious. I positioned my chair under the door handle as a safety precaution.
My last night, I did not feel like paying full buffet price as had little appetite. There was no other option! I would suggest maybe a salad bar for those in a similar position.
Otherwise, the staff were friendly.
For those traveling to Kenya for the first time, may I suggest if paying in USD, have a converter app. Or change your money for local currency. My trip was unplanned and last minute. Don't forget to haggle.
