The guest house is very pretty, well maintained and clean in very easy walking distance to everywhere you would need in Swakopmund. Safe parking is also included.
The breakfast is good and fresh (7:30am until 9am) but there is no option of requesting anything that isn't out on offer. You eat what is there (breads, jams, fruit and a hot offering of french toast / eggs or similar)
Our experience however was negatively impacted by the overbearing management team. We were made to feel quite uncomfortable at times (a nasty comment was made at check in for being from the UK) and when using the wifi in the lounge for 10 minutes, told that we were 'sad' for staying in on the internet all day.
One morning we decided to skip breakfast and sleep in a little later, the owner banged on the door at 9:10 to ask where we were?? It felt a little intrusive.
More worryingly, we were disturbed by the way management spoke to their staff and how the staff moved when they were close by. The staff were helpful, kind and pleasant - but we felt they were very undermined by the management.
It is a shame that their behaviour made us feel this way, the guest house itself is very pleasing and clean so our experience should have been a positive one. As it was, they made us feel quite unwelcome and we actively wanted to leave by the end of our 3 night stay.
