Well, I moved from out of state and had been driving a moving truck trailering a car for 8 hours that day. My reservation had been made a week in advance. I got there about 1030p and was told they didn't have my reservation and only 1 room left that someone else rented that day. Showed the printed confirmation, still nothing. She called her manager and asked what to do and I was told there same thing, take it up with hotels.com. called the lady who booked that day to see if she was coming and yes, so no room for me. I was livid. Had to get back on the road and find elsewhere. In that town, there's 3 options and 1 doesn't allow pets, so I had to go pay more at the other place. I was so tired when I finally got in my room, I ate a little, zonked out til am, got back on road to my new home. I called hotels.com and explained all this and was told they would investigate and allow 3 business days. 2 days and I got email that this property wasn't willing to do anything for me due to their policies. Well guess what? I'll go with any other booking agency other than you in the future. I won't be left room less again.
