Our stay at SEVEN was hands down the best B&B experience my partner and I have ever had, thanks in no small part to its extraordinary host, Beth. We rented during low season around Christmastime to get away from NYC and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Beth kindly picked us up from the ferry landing in her car and gave us a quick tour of the island before taking us to the inn, where we were promptly pampered and spoiled.
When you first walk in the door, you are greeted by her sweet weimaraner, Evie. Beth is an art collector and you'll note many gorgeous pieces hanging on the walls. There are rooms on the first and second floors and they are all newly-renovated and beautifully-appointed with luxurious and comfortable beds. Everything is immaculately clean with not one speck of dust in sight. The bathrooms are stocked with fine soaps and have every amenity promised and more.
Every day for breakfast, Beth spared no expense providing a gourmet spread of steel cut oats, Greek yogurt, French croissants, homemade quiche, Manchego cheese, local brie, fresh fruit and juices, three different kinds of coffee, tea -- you name it. After breakfast, we would pour ourselves a second cup of coffee and sit outside on the porch, reading our books and soaking in the idyllic view.
