In a great location, but not a good option...
Excellent location, near metro and tram, in a great neibourhood...but the breakfast was in an outside restaurant, opening after 8:00 in front of the Galata tower, and it is was one option at the menu. I have had much better breakfast in other hotels in theis city. And I lost the last day paid breakfast, because my flight was at 10:00 and was no time for it. The room was on the backside and it´s view was to a parking ugly spot, but after 11:00 the sun was strong and turned the room way too hot. The window only had a plain transparent blind, which was not adequate for the outside heat. The room was with carpet and there was a white sink inside the room, that was weird! The administration seemed absent and without any control of who goes in or out the hotel. Our room, was in the building aross the street and was totally sepate from the reception. I asked a couple of times for some problems and had to insist to resolve those. At least the receptionist were friendly and spoke english, but way too relaxed. I asked for a wake up call and never called me!!! There is a next door mosque, so prepare to wake up from the prayer call early on sunday (6:30). This one was usefull and charming for us, since we had to wake up at that time anyway... I was not happy to stay in the hotel, but could go along with it. I could have gotten a better deal with the same amount spend. I wont´ stay again.
