Terrible stay experience on 3/21/2025
The hotel gave us a room with a non working tv, 1 light and the phone. I called from my cell to let them know of the issues. They sent maintenance. Upon arriving to our room he said that the tv was not programmed so he was not able to fix it. We went to the office to request to be moved. The front desk person said that we had waited to long to report the issues since the check-in. We checked in left our stuff in the hotel and went to eat lunch after a 4 hour drive to Palm Springs. He proceeded to go to the room and saw we had used a towel, open the soap bar on the sink and had moved the cover on one bed slightly. He said that he wouldn't be able to change our room since we had used some items. This was supposed to be a deluxed room. Clearly not as there were known issues from what the maintenance person. I asked to speak to the manager, none on site. I could only email them. I was told that i could only get a discount for the issues. I will never stay at Motel 6, they didn't take any accountability for the condition of the room and place the blame on us for not checking the issues when we checked in. It is not the customers responsible to bring those issues to Motel 6, i paid for a premium room and was provided did a sub par room and ŵas denied a transferred to another room. Please do not accept check-in to room 215. We will never atay at Motel 6, the service was terrible. Also check that everything is in working condition upon entering the room otherwise you'll be screwed.
