This charming pension lies in the former home of a count, who built it for his family in the late 19th century. We were lucky to get one of the rooms in the aisle, with windows in several directions and towards the waterfall of Bad Gastein.
The atmosphere is very personal. There is a living room on the main floor, working as the lobby, with a library of DVDs that you may borrow to watch in your room. A lovely tom cat, who loves to be pet, also comes with the interior.
The breakfast includes yoghurt, cereals, fruit cocktail or freshly grated apples, bread, cheese, sausage, and juice. The breakfast is served in the cellar, where the owners' wine bar and cuisine restaurant is located. Don't miss to spend at least one of your dinners here.
We highly recommend this hotel and would happily return again.
