Overall a great stay, it's a nice hotel and my girlfriend and I loved our 3-day stay in our room with a balcony. Take caution, though: they are *extreme* (and a bit unprofessional) about strict adherence to check-out time.
Check-out time is 11am, and on our last day we got a knock on our door promptly at 11:06 am asking when we would be vacating the room. I told them we just needed a few more minutes - 10 minutes at most - and we would be out.
At 11:15 am, as we were leaving the room, I received a text message from a staff member informing me that if we did not leave soon, they would make a charge on my reservation and/or revoke my ability to stay at Kasa hotels in the future.
...this was 15 minutes past check-out time.
Were we late? Admittedly yes.
...by 15 minutes.
Threatening to charge my account and revoke my ability to stay at their properties in the future? What hotel threatens that for being 15 minutes late? It's not as if we were walking out of our room at 1pm...
I very much understand hotels are busy, they need time to clean rooms and prep for next guests, etc.
I get it.
But you don't take those measures against someone who's running a few minutes (!!) behind.
Anyway, nice hotel. Good location. Get the room with the balcony, it's great. Only downside to the room was that the carpet was not well maintained (stained, dirty, etc). And make damn sure you're out of that place by 11am on the mf dot!
