Maca Villas & Residences Umalas far exceeded our expectations. The location was a great quiet reprive from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding area. The hospitality and service was absolute perfection, everyone went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. The sister Maca resort has a fantastic restaurant Mase and access to the Sonham spa facilities. The front desk can arrange a free roundtrip shuttle to the spa and sister property restaurant. Highly recommend a day at the spa which comes complete with gym, exercise classes, hot tubs, sauna, stream room, cafe, and some of the best massages I've ever had. Our villa was always cleaned and serviced quickly. The enclosed glass doors were crucial for us to avoid bugs and creatures, you can also fully open the glass doors if you prefer the ourdoor feel. We visited in the height of rainy season and were grateful for a fully enclosed villa. Daily breakfast was always fast and fresh, the restaurant staff really went above and beyond to provide exceptional and friendly service.The resort provide a daily 1-way shuttle service to the surrounding areas. The shuttles are very comfortable SUV's. There are plenty of taxis available on ride sharing apps as well. Major thanks to Yoga and the team for making our stay exceptional. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be back.
