For me, a hotel is about more than just the anaesthetics, is about the vibe, the staff, the environment and most importantly, how comfortable I feel in the space. This place has it all. From the moment we arrived, to when we left, we felt at home. The staff generally care and go above and beyond to ensure you’re well looked after. Special mention to Jimmi, Jennie, Suly.. who were standout staff for me. Although, there were many more that were also so kind and lovely - just sorry that I have not remembered their name’s.
The rooms are typical for Hanoi hotels and well decorated with good amenities. They also had good soundproofing, so we were able to get a good nights sleep, with the noise of Hanois street playing havoc with our ears. The in room fridge was great for any extra food or drink we brought back and the drinks on offer, were reasonable for hotel.
The breakfast here is the best that I’ve experienced in Vietnam and I would even go as far to say in the top five of any hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff were even kind enough to pack us a breakfast pack for our early departure to Halong Bay.
Royal Palace Hotel, thank you for a memorable 3-night stay and I would not hesitate in recommending or returning again.
