Completely disgusted, disappointed and dissatisfied. I arrived to the hotel after 10 hours of flight and layover only to find out when checking in and getting a room that the hotel room was infested with fleas or some kind of micro bugs. I walked in only to notice that the sink area had them all over, upon further inspection, the headboard, side table, counter under the tv and coffee area had them all over as well. Disgusted as I was, I notified reception and told them about the issue, they said they don’t have any more rooms in that category of one double bed etc, they said I should just stay in the room and the next day I can get my room changed. As disappointed as I was, initially they said they couldn’t do anything, then they finally said they had a family room on the first floor no windows though, I said ok, let me check it out and see. Upon taking the other room, eventually I noticed the walls were dirty and black, at some point after looking closely onto the furniture I noticed more of the flea sized bugs. I immediately notified the front desk and wanted out. What likely traveler would stay in an infested hotel to maybe only wake up with bed bug bites let alone having the fear that they can enter my luggage and I’d likely be transporting them home. I immediately asked for a full refund as now I had to not only find another hotel to stay but also arrange my own transportation. The reception did not seem apologetic to my circumstance.
