We booked a room for 3 nights, but added 2 more nights shortly after, and won't hesitate to stay a week or two if we had some more time on Bali during that visit. The pool is good, even it's squeezed between two buildings of the hotel, yet it's long, deep enough, and is really good for swimming, including when it's (and in February it was a lot) raining due to it's "half-indoor" location. The room interior is not new, yet it's clean. The area around is quiet, peaceful and very "local". Breakfast was "a la carte" at first (we arrived on Monday), obviously because there were just a few customers besides us; then it became a buffet, not a bad one, though those who do not tolerate Indonesian food may not like it so much, but we loved it. The location is far from any tourist area, but not so far from central Denpasar if you rent a motorbike (or use Go-Jek/Uber), it's also good for traveling north (Ubud, Mengwi, etc.) as you will bypass most of the Denpasar traffic. Many restaurants on Gatsu (Jl. Gatot Subroto) are a short walk away, as well as large Hardy's supermarket. Overall, a good area if you do not intend to stay near the beach and/or to party wild, but just want to get rest and/or have to work at times, as we did. And it's good value for money, even for Bali where the competition makes the low-season prices very sweet. We'll be back some day!
