I visited Ghent and stayed in this house with three of my friends from school on an undergrad post-graduation tour of Europe. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood to the north Ghent's center; while not an overly interesting location in itself, the house was near a tram line which made for an easy trip to most of the central sights of the city, and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood at all times of the day. The house was very spacious for the four of us, and was just as described on the booking website. It is decorated with a simple, modern feel, and the owner had it very clean upon our arrival. Of note, the owner of the house, Kurt, was exceptionally nice; he was there to let us in at check-in and provided a great deal of info on what to do, where to eat, etc. in the city. After check-in, we were left alone for the rest of the stay, but he provided contact info and seemed willing to show up should we have needed help with anything else. Probably my favorite aspect of the house was the refrigerator - Kurt kept it stocked with a perfect variety of great Belgian beers which were reasonably priced. Ultimately our stay was enjoyable, and I would certainly recommend this place to a friend (especially those on a limited budget, as the house was frankly inexpensive for how comfortable it was when split among four people).
