Upon arrival, a €400 deposit was reserved. At checkout, I inquired about the refund and was told that the deposit had already been released. However, once I got home, I noticed a significant charge on my account for items supposedly taken from the minibar. I requested a receipt, as the amount didn’t match what we had actually consumed. It took several emails before I finally received the receipt, only to find we had been charged for items like vapes and candy that we never purchased. When I raised this issue, the hotel staff simply referred to the list from the cleaning personnel, and no refund was offered. It is unacceptable that charges were made before giving the guest a chance to verify the expenses.
The main reason we chose this hotel was the pool, for my children’s enjoyment. At check-in, we were informed that the pool would close on the last day of our stay, but it was shut down after only two days. When I tried to book the jacuzzi on our terrace as an alternative, I was told it was also out of order.
Although the restaurant staff were friendly, the overall service and treatment we received were far below expectations. We paid a substantial amount for facilities we couldn’t use and were even charged for items we didn’t buy.
