As we checked in the receptionist asked us to pay €31 to cover any damage cost. He then stated this is the hotel policy and we would be refunded upon check in out of the hotel. As we checked out the hotel, the owner only refunded us back €20. When questioned the hotel owner he stated the €11 was for the local tax. Although €11 is not going to hurt my bank balance, it’s the basic principle, when booking the hotel via Expedia, the taxes are included. Also the rooms do not have tea and coffee facilities (coffee sachets, sugar, tea) and the parking is very limited. Also the buffet breakfast is very basic. The shower facility in the rooms are very tinny and the shower curtain is not adequate.
