Finding Rushop Hall was a challenge - did I really have to drive up a bridle path? Yes! But so worth the journey. We'd asked for an evening meal and it was excellent: bruschetta, parma wrapped chicken breasts in a delicate sauce, chocolate brownies with icecream and a berry compote, as was the choice of wine. All freshly cooked. Stupendous breakfast too.
The bedroom was comfortable with a sofa, books to read, good toiletries. My only quibble was the pillows, which were a bit lumpy, and the mattress, not as comfortable as our own.
The hosts have helpful information about walking in the area and are really charming..
We're going again.
