If you are in the mood for retro times with no modern amenities, it is the place for you. Woman was very nice but a big draw back was no AC….this was first time traveling to Italy so I thought ac was a give in and boy was I wrong! I’m not trying to give a bad review because that’s not what I do, just want to make the next person aware. Also bed very old and uncomfortable and plumbing was very loud and old….water in shower barely got hot enough to be in shower for 30 seconds. Also there’s a tv but no streaming available to watch, fortunately, I had Netflix so we were able to cope from my iPad . Also, it is quite a way from Rome…you have to take a bus (which is close) but for the price of the room I get it. A lot of nice mom and pop restaurants with great food unlike the tourist spots so that was great! Anyone over 6’2 220 lbs or more will not be comfortable. My husband is 6’4 and 290 so needless to say he did not do well. We tried to get a refund but we’re refused. It was hard to get a hold of owner when we had an issue, kind of strange first night we were there, she lives there, called, knocked on door, no response and got an email saying she wasn’t refunding. Oddly enough she called the next day asking what time we left, well we left all of our stuff because we didn’t get a refund so we suffered. Also noise very loud because you have leave window open for any type of air movement. Didn’t sleep well. Won’t stay there again personally but if it’s for you, give it a shot.
