I suppose "you get what you pay for" but not quite in this case as the rate was advertised as including breakfast but after demanding full payment in cash up-front we were informed that breakfast wasn't available and is only served in the summer. The only positive aspect of the room is that it was very spacious. There is also a kitchenette area, although I'm not sure what use this would be to anyone as there was only a very weak trickle of water and no kettle nor any equipment or utensils whatsoever were provided. The room wasn't serviced once during the 11 nights we stayed nor were the towels changed or further toilet rolls provided. We also had to supply our own top sheet for the bed as this was not provided, only a rough scratchy cover. We had to run the water for at least 10-15 minutes until it was warm (never hot) enough to shower. There seemed to be a couple of guys running the place who slept in the lounge and barely acknowledged us and we saw no other staff. The location is very central and convenient but the accommodation is over a 24/7 restaurant and there is constant noise all night. All in all a miserable experience, albeit cheap, and if we could have got a refund we would have left and found somewhere else. Come the summer season, it may well be a different story - I sincerely hope so for the sake of future guests.
