I had a pleasant stay at Le Christina. The location was great – just a short walk to the main centre, which made it easy to explore the area on foot.
Parking was on-street, and I was lucky to find a space right outside – it was free, which was a bonus. However, it’s not clear where you’d park if no spaces were available, so that might be something to plan ahead for.
The room was spacious, with a very large, comfortable bed. I really appreciated the electric window shutters – they did an excellent job of blocking out both light and street noise, and I had a peaceful night’s sleep. The area felt safe, and I had no concerns walking around in the evening.
The bathroom had a good-sized shower with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water – no complaints there. It would be a nice touch to include hair conditioner alongside the shampoo. The hairdryer, unfortunately, wasn’t very effective – it had very little power, so an upgrade there would be helpful.
One very minor thing – and I know I’m being a bit fussy – but it would be nice to have real tea cups or mugs in the room rather than paper ones. It just adds a little comfort when you’re having a hot drink.
Overall, a comfortable, well-situated hotel with a few small areas for improvement, but I’d happily stay again.
