The hotel (a collection of villas) is in between Naxos town and the beaches. It is twinned with a beach side complex in Plaka (about 15 minutes drive away). The villas are clean, spacious, with lots of outside space. The Naxian offers the best of staying in a villa (space, facilities, pool) along with the benefits of being part of a hotel (breakfast, local knowledge, room servicing). The dining space is bright, white and light, with communal tables and an outdoor space. The views from our villa was the town port (to the front) and the sea, mountains & islands to the rear. Its pretty idyllic. Theres a mix of guests from families, to honeymooners, to seasoned travellers - although all seem to be comfortable and catered for. The hotel do offer meals outside of breakfast, but they felt over priced (€20+ for a main), and the dining room lacks atmosphere (and customers) in the evening. There are so many different restaurants in town and on the beach, you would be foolish not to go out each evening to experience the multitude of (reasonably priced) cuisines available within a short drive.
