Overall, The Saneer was fine. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful when I was waiting for our driver, who had gone to the wrong hotel, to take us to the Taj Mahal. The free airport shuttle was very helpful. There aren’t really any restaurants in the area, so we ate at the hotel, which was good.
The overall experience, though, was less than fine.
The airport shuttle was not at the airport when we arrived, but after I called them, the car was there in 15 minutes.
At 1am our first night, a bell boy was beating at our door and trying to get in to deliver water that we did not order. The water was also unlabeled and already opened. The bell boy did not seem to see anything wrong with this scenario. When I told the staff about it, they apologized.
We gave them our laundry the night we checked in. When we returned from our day trip to the Taj Mahal, I asked about the laundry. They said they would send it up in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later, I called down, and they said they would send it up in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes later, I went down to the front desk to ask about the laundry. It was not there, but it should be there in 30 minutes. I figured I could take a shower real quick. Five minutes later, the bell boy was beating on my door again and trying to get in the room.
We are going back to Jaipur in a few days, and we will not be staying at The Saneer again.
