Casa De Campo is nestled on the side of a hill in the San Blas area of Cusco, just a short ten minute walk uphill on little cobblestone streets from the Plaza de Armas.
Our room was on the front of the building and provided us with lovely views of the cobblestone street below as well as the city of Cusco, including the plaza. We spent the few days around New Years Eve there, and although we were in the Plaza de Armas (and, really, you should be, too) for the holiday itself, for the days we stayed there following New Years Eve, we had the lovely and surreal opportunity to see leftover fireworks exploding in the sky for a few days afterward from the comfort of our bed.
The staff were accommodating and helpful with all of our questions about what to do and where around Cusco, and even tried to help us sort out a few complicated arrangements for our later trip to Machu Picchu.
I'm sure you'd love it there as much as we did.
