My stay was fine & the hotel was nice. The bill for my room that was the issue. I paid for it on the Hotels.com app when I booked my room. When I checked in online ahead of time, the hotel requested my credit card for incidentals. Before I checked out, my card was charged by the hotel. I explained to the manager that I was double billed & provided him with documents to prove it. He apologized & advised he would research & get back to me ASAP. He stated that Hotels.com did not provide them with my credit card info. I am assuming that he meant that Hotels.com did not pay them. He called me on my drive home & advised I would be refunded in 48 to 72 hours, which I did. However, the refund was taken back again. It was refunded again & then I waited a few days to see if it was taken back again & it was not. I liked the hotel & may stay there again, as it is very close to my son’s college for when I drop him off or pick him up. However, I need to rethink how I will pay for next time, as it was very inconvenient. I am not sure where the disconnect was, but it needs to be resolved for future customers.
