Like many small towns in rural Kentucky, affordable housing options are few and far between. This hotel also rents rooms by the week and I was told that several of their employees live at the hotel. That said, on a Saturday night there were few "customers" and I saw mostly "live-ins" -- many of whom looked like they had fallen, or came, from hard times. The hotel is older, but my room was clean and the poeple were friendly. I don't want to leave a bad review -- the hotel is meeting a need that exists. (On another note, the pool was not operational and looked like it had not been for quite some time.) Best wishes to all.
