It is in the middle of nowhere, 33 miles from the nearest town, so that when you get there you are locked in, in a sense. That became a good thing. There is one common parking area which was a pain for me as our room was almost as far away as possible. I have a bad back and the walking surfaces are loose, small pea gravel, which is difficult for me to walk on. There are no TVs in the rooms, but a common TV room. We never got there and found that not having a TV was very nice, as we were tired of watching Trumps' impeachment.
The dining staff was wonderful. There was only one other couple on site while we were there, and they turned out to be delightful. We had two breakfasts with them and two dinners, plus two cocktail times before dinner. We think we made some new friends who don't live that far from us.
