This was a pretty terrible hotel. When my wife and I first arrived we were greeted by the staff of Riad Tahra & Spa. They said that the room we booked at Jardin Chrifa was being worked on so we had to go with them to their hotel. I highly recommend this hotel (Riad Tahra). They got us in there, served us mint tea, knocked out the paperwork for staying at the hotel, gave us directions, and offered other services. The room at Riad Tahra was big and had a nice bath. Only drawback is the bed was quite hard. The next day we transferred to Jardin Chrifa. I'll start with the redeeming qualities. Friendly hotel staff, good free breakfast, nice bed, that's really it. The drawbacks: toilet was not bolted to the floor (nearly fell over several times), water was room temperature and never got hot, very noisy (like until 3 in the morning), there was no wifi, (it was present on the first floor only right next to the reception desk). The internet issue became a problem when we were attempting to find other things to do in the area outside of the old town. The hotel did not book us properly thinking that we were departing a day prior to our time arranged through expedia. This wasn't a problem really as they cleared it up pretty quick but would have been if they had been fully booked. Lastly, I booked a taxi through the hotel to take me to the airport on the day I was to depart. It was quite early, 5 am, and I get outside at 4:45, wait for 15 minutes, and still no taxi.
