Great value and location. We had a few hiccups but mostly circumstancial.
We stayed for two nights. Our first night was terrible due to a cat being stuck inside the hallway and crying for 4 hours. When we finally got to sleep, we were woken up an hour later by the construction right outside our window. Thankfully, the manager let us change rooms a little further away from the noise, but sadly, we didn't have the energy to do much the rest of the day.
Breakfast was a short window (2 hours) and had limited options, but the food was good (fresh bread, eggs, ham & cheese, cereal, coffee, and tea). This was the only hotel that didnt offer complimentary water bottles. The shower was the best hot water and pressure of our trip but the water didn't drain and futhermore, it spilled onto the bathroom floor. This happened in both our rooms. The rooms themselves were clean, but very dated. First room was deluxe and spacious, second room was standard and surprisingly, much smaller. While it also had a queen and twin size bed to sleep 3, it was hard to imagine fitting 3 adults. Also, they had the window open for the second room while cleaning, by the time we moved in, it had several flies and mosquitoes, so we spent the first hour or so, trying to get them all.
The location was great, walking distance from everything, including the train station, ruins, restaurants, and main square. They kept our bags while we checked out for the day and were very accommodating all-around.
