Hotel.com client be aware of this
It was on the spot booking coz i never expect i will be staying longer in Beijing. I was at the property that night and didnt expect the property manager advice me that they never accommodate foreigner. And they told me they cancelled and refunded my booking right away even before i came. And i explained to them that i have paid for it and consider my stay for a nite but they insist that even they like to accommodate me but the hotel is restrict for accepting foreigner which i respect that.right away i reach out hotel.com with regards to this issue and i even told them that this hotel cant accept foreigner as guest and they told me that i booked a non refundable property and investigate who’s fault is it and concluded that i cant get refunded. I told hotel.com that if only i knew that this hotel cant accept foreigner i at first wont booked this. And also if hotel.com includes this word “inly locals or no foreigners allowed” in publishing this property online for sure i will understand and for sure i didn't booked the property! It doesn’t make sense i get charge for the fault of hotel.com?? The property told me couple times that they already refund back and cancelled my booking thru hotel.com. And the agent of hotel.com was lying couple times to ignore my refund! I advise hotel.com to look into this further. I have to booked another property at $135 in same platform for few hours! This trip wasn’t planned! I need to get compensated and refund!
