I know the property has only recently opened for business so understand that there will be snagging issues. I just wanted to mention a few things that need to be addressed. I would also like to point out the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. And the property was very clean and had fantastic areas to work in.
The plug sockets worked but you had to really force the plug in.
The television in the room had a mind of its own and didn’t work properly.
No tea towel, kitchen roll or drainer for the dishes. Lights kept randomly switching on and off.
There wasn’t any air-conditioning in the room, which going forward into summer would be very uncomfortable in the room without this, especially as the windows were locked and couldn’t be opened.
The worst thing we found was we were not aware this was going to be totally adapted for disabled people. We just opted for a larger room but found it was full of emergency pull cords next to the bed, showe, toilet. The bathroom was entirely kitted out for disabled people which meant there was no toilet lid so when you flushed the toilet water came gushing over the top of the toilet, soaking your feet and everything else in the way. The handbasin was very low and difficult to use when shaving washing face, etc. The seat in the shower wouldn’t stay folded up and kept crashing down.
Maid entered the room in the morning without knocking, at 10 am.
