Quiet location about 25 min walk from Anjuna beach. The only other meal choices are a cute cafe/new agy backyard shop nearby and a couple of questionable open air restaurants with insects around.
If you want to use a taxi for a lift to the beach, they will overcharge you (by Indian standards) - still annoying.
Hotel is in good clean condition, but it has a serious problem with its staff. reception speaks reasonable English, the rest not so good (including the manager), leading to misunderstandings.
The main problem is the hotel restaurant. Hotel rates include buffet breakfast, but it is very poor food that is not even kept warm for the guests. On two occasions of eating at the restaurant we've literally waited 2 hours before being served, while the hotel manager was served ahead of us in a few minutes.
We also had a bizzare experience of being served a dish that we've not ordered, with a comment that it was just as good (as the one we did order)!
Complaints to the reception brought sympathetic nods, but nothing was done.
We needed to use the internet, but it was out of order throughout our stay, as was the outside phone line.
The room TV English channels had poor reception.
Overall impression was that promising facilities were wasted by mismanagement.
Do not recommend this hotel.
