What I didn’t like:
- This property is going through some kind of transition from a short term rental to a hotel? As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. For example, the front desk is only open M-F from 8a-6p so if you need help outside of those hours, you’re SOL.
- Cleaning service is only done on a bi-weekly so when we stayed here for 5 days, the room got pretty dirty and we had trash and dirty towels piling up.
- The portable AC included in the room is suitable up to 400 sq ft but the room is almost 500 sq ft. When we visited here during the heat wave, it did not do a good job of cooling the room.
What I do like:
- Room itself is beautiful and filled with modern appliances and esthetics. It was clean and the small kitchen was super useful.
- The best aspect is its location with walking distance to many coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. The boardwalk is nice for taking a stroll and watching boats sail by. The ferry to Seattle is also right by this place so it’s super convenient to be able to get to that side of town.
- There is a mini grocery store on-site with an abundance of items at reasonable prices.
Overall, I give this place 3 stars. I think once the transition is complete, most of the problems I mentioned should get fixed.
