We arrived at property and were told it was being cleaned. Waited until notification that it was ready. Unpacked entire car to enter condo only to find NOTHING had been cleaned. It was FILTHY. Turns out it was not being cleaned.
We had to load everything back into our vehicle (after a 14-hour drive) and wait until the room was cleaned. Took SEVERAL HOURS. Finally checked in several hours AFTER our designated check-in time. Still found uncleaned areas in condo, including feminine hygiene products in nightstand.
Tried to contact POOLE Vacation Rentals each day throughout the week. We were IGNORED and/or calls/texts went unanswered all week.
When we did finally speak with someone, their response was that it was someone else’s fault, not their responsibility and/or they could not do anything to help. Never got a straight answer. Their story changed each time we were finally able to speak with them or get a text returned from them.
They insisted that because we booked through a third party, they could not help/refund our first night.
We’re easygoing travelers, but we would absolutely NOT recommend booking through Poole Vacation Rentals.
Poor communication, poor customer service, low quality overall.
