Positives: breakfast, service, location, and it’s relatively new and in good shape. Our room was a decent size with three twin beds.
Negatives: two big ones. One, there is methane from the sewer system under the building coming up through the elevator shaft. The staff told us there is nothing they can do because it was built on top of old infrastructure as far as the city waste system. Recommendation is at least get some kind of a fan system in there to blow that outside. You ll notice the smell when you walk to the elevators and it’s on multiple floors. Multiple guests, not just us, noticed it and were there to report it as a propane leak. It was strong. Two, if you take a shower after 715 am on a weekday you’re getting a cold shower. It seems like there might be one undersized hot water heater for the whole hotel.
The third issue, really not solvable, is its on a really busy four lane street and right up to that street. The windows are thick and solid but you are still going to hear street noise so bring headphones.
We would stay again if they can fix problems one and two.
