Lovely place!
The view from the room is incredible. Paolo makes sure you have many of the things you need in the room, including a thoughtful gift of a bottle of wine and sweets. The place is very nice, modern, and clean. Paolo is very pleasant and helpful. If you read the other reviews, you already know the city is full of stairs, but for me it was a good workout. Feel free to visit Paolo's place. You'll love it!

Great stay in Riomaggiore
LOTS of stairs to get here but the view made all the steps worth it! Room was modern, quiet and had everything we needed. Mia and Paolo were both great and quick to reply to messages. Would book again in a heartbeat.

Paolo was great in addressing any concerns. The set of dishes and dish soap along with the bottle of wine was a wonderful surprise. If the town elevators are not working, be prepared to take a lot of stairs up to the room, unless one takes the bus.

Amazing view and service.
Amazing view of Riomaggiore. Excellent service and comfort. Fresh and clean. Service was amazing. Easy access with elevator. Calm and nice area. I will go back to this amazing apartment.

Its in the upper end of the Village but thanks to the public lifts it is easy to access. The village is quit busy but the surroundings to Paolos place is not and it is very nice around the church and the nice restaurant nearby.

Without a doubt this is the best ever place we stayed at. For sure this is an award winner. Not sure if Expedia vets these places if yes then Expedia did an excellent job. This property is a gem. Clean ,tidy, convenient and the icing on the cake was our host Paolo and his Mom. You feel you have a faily in a different country. They made us feel at home answered all our questions did a lot for us. For sure I wish we could have stayed a month. But reality kicks in and we had to move. Thanks Paola for everything. When we decide to come back for sure I will stay at your location.

Le Camere di Paolo was amazing. Paolo is such a kind and generous host. He made sure we had everything we needed, and was readily available via text for anything else that came up. But truthfully, the room was already set-up perfectly. Pristine bedding, linens and bathroom. Great amenities, including AC, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, TV, WiFi, and drinks/snacks. They also had a cute outdoor patio. This accommodation was near the castle, and Paolo gave clear instructions on how to get here via the elevators throughout Riomaggiore. Riomaggiore is such a great location, you can walk anywhere, take in the view and enjoy a snack or book. There are elevators that are free with the Tourist Card assigned to you when staying in Riomaggiore. There are some amazing restaurants and shops near the town center. Great views at the marina. We visited the other towns in Cinque Terre, and felt that Riomaggiore was definitely more romantic and intimate, especially towards the end of the day when the crowds thin out. It felt very safe even at night. The other great attraction is the Via dell’Amore, a paved pathway that connects Riomaggiore to Manarola. I highly recommend for the gorgeous views (especially at sunset) but it is timed entry, so make sure to book ahead of time. There’s also the Blue Trail that connects all of Cinque Terre, but it’s definitely a moderate/hard hike. As an alternative, there’s a train that runs very frequently to see the other towns.

As we saw people walking up the mountain with their luggage, we found very convenient the two available elevators we had the right to use because Paolo, our host, acquired the pass for his guests. The area is absolutely fresh and a safe neighborhood with very nice and smiley people

Paolo was an excellent host! The rooms were clean and well supplied, and the view from our room overlooking Riomaggiore and the sea were fabulous. The elevators leading up from the train station were convenient, so we didn't have to climb the hill in the summer heat! It was a great stay, would definitely recommend.

Paulo was a great host. The room was clean and the location so beautiful. We had a beautiful time and Paulo was very co corned with our every need . We had a great time in Cinque Terre! The Superior Double room was perfect. Clean, comfortable, like new and the view was unbelievable. Staying above the village turned out to be best as the Main Street is very noisy morning through night. The elevators down to the lower areas of the village are nearby. Learn where those are right away! We dropped our bags for our car right at the front gate. No carrying suitcases through the village or up stairs. Paolo was an awesome host!

We loved our stay here. The room was nice and clean, it looked new and renovated. The view was amazing, I will never forget waking up to the view in the window. Paolo was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Definitely recommend it and looking forward to staying here again.
