This is not a 4 star hotel. More like a 2 star hotel.
There is a construction site next door that starts work at 8am. My air conditioner did not work on my first night, but they did fix that straight away.
My shower only had luke warm water, no hot. And it splashed all over the bathroom floor. Very slippery and
unsafe.
By the third day, I was very bored of the repetitive buffet.
Though it was 'all inclusive', that did not include bottled water, which I had to buy because the tap water tastes awful. The water feeding the drinks fountain and coffee machine was the tap water and so tea and coffee were out too. So if you wanted booze and sugary drinks exclusively, you would be better off.
The beach in front of the hotel is rocky - most probably because of the building works - and shallow, so makes it difficult to swim in the sea.
The staff were very friendly though and the front desk were able to order taxis at good rates. Which was necessary as the busses were very unreliable. I waited over an hour and a half on 2 different days to try to get to Heraklion and eventually took a taxi on my last day.
