A bit of a maze to get there but it’s a pretty safe and quiet enclave. On a beautiful block, we always felt good coming “home”.
So here are the pro’s: clean, clean sheets & towels, clean and functional bathroom, clean shower (no mold or anything, truly clean). Good TV and closet and bed was fine. Very nice restaurant five steps away, lovely bookshop 20 steps away and a 10 minute walk from a main water bus stop.
Here are the cons: air conditioning is European style. Just enough. But if you’re traveling from the U.S., forget it. Just assume that mid-July is going to be SWELTERING hot at night. Could not sleep. If you’re staying for a long period, consider buying a fan. Also, if you stay on the ground floor, there’s really no view.
