We checked in and left within one hour. She required a $20 CASH deposit. This is the first time I've ever had a lodging establishment require cash and will not take credit/debit/check or anything traceable.
Objectively, this is what we found checking in:
Spoiled food left in microwave
Cat food left in cabinet
Counter top and table, sticky. Other surfaces not wiped down
Freezer was repaired with yellow tape
Shower still has hair in the tub. There are questionable stains in the tub. The shower handle I loose and is about to come off
Bed pillows are stained
Bed linens are stains
There is no cutlery, pots, pans, or plates to use for the kitchenette
The property owner scolded us for keeping the air conditioning. She barged through the front door and I quote, "… electricity is expensive. Keep the door shut when you're using the air conditioning m**er f**ers". Mind you, I opened the door to pick up more luggage from our car in the parking lot.
Lastly, when I started to record her for her conduct, she began to lie stating the house keeping told me to turn down the A/C and I slammed the door in her face and she's going to call the cops to arrest us and charge us $1500 for A/C repairs.
I'm sure everyone knows how a customer should be treated so I will not state the obvious. I'm warning everyone to stay away from this hotel.
