This is a lovely little retreat with a communal feel. Owners are very friendly and helpful. There are two guest houses, each with several bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living/dining area. This made it feel very homey, which I really appreciated. It was great having a kitchen with a large fridge! A large communal outdoor area with several small tables, and a large communal dining table allowed me to eat and converse with other guests daily. A (very battered, but functional) pool table provided fun and connection with other guests as well. There is a large speaker mounted in this area, and guests would take turns playing music from their smartphones on it. Thus we shared beautiful music from all around the world, and we also danced in this area, which was super fun.
Another WONDERFUL feature of this property is the pool. While it needs some safety upgrades, it was a source of endless fun and games, relaxation, exercise and sheer beauty. The property in general is nicely landscaped with palm trees and other fruiting and flowering plants that create the feel of a tropical paradise. They also have chickens and a gorgeous male peacock running around the grounds.
The negatives were: my room was slightly unclean in areas, e.g. small particulates in some corners and in some drawers; the bed was comfy, but the metal bed frame was a hazard, with sharp corners; had to ask for clothes hangers, an iron and ironing board, no warm water in my shower, occasional power outage
