Nice place. There are a few apartments available, all similar, I believe. Mine was on 2nd floor (Number 6), couple short flights of stairs. I prefer apartments generally to hotels as a more authentic experience of the city. Area is fairly quiet and suburban, but nice, and about 2 blocks from the Metro (M1 line), the stop is "Lotto". Not usually a metro person, but this is really easy, with simple tap of chip credit card to go through gate and then same to exit destination station (like London Tube), so no need to buy tickets and/or calculate the price. I was at the large convention centre every day and this is on the same line (last stop: RHO Fiera). Avoid crazy taxis/buses at convention centre as train station literally next to convention centre. Same M1 line goes the other way to the centre of Milan (e.g. Duomo stop, next to Cathedral). In the apartment full kitchen, but may want to stop to get some supplies for snacks/beverages. Recommend right opposite Apartment building a nice friendly Italian for coffee/pastries for breakfast. To enter apartment, great communications from proprietor (used What's app and Text, plus email). Had a couple of trips downtown, first to Duomo, then a restaurant recommended to me "Al Cantinone Unione" 10 min walk from metro (and not too touristy and had local specialties). Next day went (and recommend this area) a longish walk from Duomo, called Navigli (photo attached), lively and tons of restaurants and bars. Overall, recommend Blue City!
