I am elderly. The bathtub was unsafe: tub floor very slippery and non-skid strips were worn; safety grab bar was knee height so I hung onto the shower curtain rail. Room air was a problem: smelled very strongly of either air fragrance spray or mold/mildew. My clothes were damp when I unpacked them later. Reservation problem: I made the reservation in March for May 30-June 3. On MARCH 30, very angry, difficult to understand person called me and asked "well, are you coming? If you aren't coming, we will bill you for the whole reservation." I replied the reservation was for May 30. Person continued to bully me, but finally said he would "check upstairs." When he returned, he was calmer, confirmed the date was May 30, said "we can do that" and hung up. My May 30 flight was canceled because of weather. When I called to confirm I would be a day late, I asked to cancel the room for May 30. The person refused. When I persisted, he said he would have to check "upstairs." Being exhausted, I gave up and said I would pay for the room. On June 2, feeling ill from the room smell, I left a day early -- didn't bother to ask for credit for the room -- and found a nice motel close to Madison for my last night.
