4 star property? You must be joking! I wouldn’t book this property again. The pictures are deceiving, and as much as the rooms look clean with newly refurbished bathrooms, the beds are creaky and uncomfortable, the access to the rooms are a nightmare and don’t bother trying to open the windows.
We had 2 rooms and alarm bells should have rung when we were unable to get into both rooms. The only way to access the rooms is through an app, and that didn’t work. After finally contacting someone through WhatsApp, we went through a laborious process of “pull the handle down to open the door” and sending us basic instructions like we don’t know how to use a door handle, we landed up having to use key cards which we stored in separate safes. Great, 1 room door opened, and the 2nd room, that key card was faulty. Another 25 min of debugging why the key card wasn’t working, at which point we were given the master card (also stored in a safe mind you) to access the room.
So into the room, open the windows and you see a staircase. Not a view as advertised, but people walking past who could see straight into your room with the curtains opened. Landed up with closed curtains all trip. Tried to lock the door, there was no inside lock on the door. We found this out the hard way when the cleaner walked into the room while we were sitting on the bed. The reason we have an internal lock is safety and privacy. Especially when anyone with the code has access to the master key.
