I would have given 5 stars if only rating the hotel. I gave 4 stars because of the 3 star experience with the restaurant.
The hotel itself was terrific. The staff was attentive and wonderful. The room was charming and well equipped with upscale amenities. The location was excellent and within easy walking distance to attractions. If stairs may be an issue to some, it would be important to request a room accessible by lift. We were on the third floor in a section of the hotel that allowed us to take the lift for 2 floors, but then we needed to use stairs to go up another flight. Fortunately, they have an all night porter who was able to help with our luggage at 4am as we had to catch an early flight.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was disappointing. When we dined, there were only three other tables occupied. We ordered cocktails which took about 20 minutes to arrive. We ordered the Chateaubriand with a bottle of Malbec special. Portions of the meat were so tough that it was actually hard to cut with a steak knife and a couple of my bites were impossible to chew The stated salad was a disappointment and consisted of some kind of small green garnishment on the plate. When the check came, I was surprised by the added service charge for the cocktails.
We would definitely stay at the hotel again, but would dine at one of the other nearby options.
