24 hours prior to my stay, I received an email saying my reservation was cancelled. When I arrived at the property, the host blamed Hotels.com. I'm not sure if she was telling the truth, or just trying to rebook me at a higher rate. She ended up finding a room for us, and charging us more for it than we originally agreed upon in our reservation. There was old fried chicken in the cupboard, the toilet was leaking, and the bathroom sink emitted such a foul stench that I had to keep the bathroom closed in order to sleep. The room was surprisingly dirty considering it smelled so strongly of nostril-burning cleanser when we first entered. I would never stay here again.
