The check-in process was great, and we felt welcomed. As soon as we got to the room, we found a used floss pick on the chair that was at the desk, which was disgusting.
We were told at check-in that housekeeping would not clean our rooms during our stay, but we could ask for more towels if needed. As a family of 4, we definitely needed more towels and they were supplied without any issue. However, by night 3, we definitely needed the trash bins emptied.
Everyone was super nice except for the lady working the front desk on Sunday evening. We went down to ask for 2 extra blankets. She asked how many nights we had been there. She then asked what our room number was. She asked if we had opened the sofa bed because the bed was made and we didn’t need more blankets. She asked why we needed blankets. I told her we were cold. She then said she’d see if she could find us 1, but we couldn’t have 2.
I get that sometimes there is a shortage of blankets. If she’d have simply said that, we would have understood. But to grill us about needing blankets in a room we are paying to stay in is unacceptable.
