We were desperate for a place to stay, since it was already 8pm. Knowing that we had to be on the road by 7am, we chose a cheaper place. We were expecting 'no frills' but did not expect grungy, smelly and loud. This place caters to tour groups, so I guess they don't care about the stained cloth chairs in the room, of that the entire hotel smells of old Chinese food.
Breakfast was scheduled to open at 7, but when the dining room and front desk were both still dark at 7, we rang the desk bell. Apparently that woke up the kid who set up breakfast. I will compliment him on his ability to put everything out within a few minutes, but we shouldn't have had to wait until 7:15 to get some breakfast.
