We thought we had booked a double but on arriving at Riad Inna we discovered that the room was en suite which was a nice surprise! The room was a good size with a comfortable bed, a large window which meant it was cool and airy despite the heat outside and the room not having A/C, and a nice wet room/bathroom. It's not plush but for £20 definitely a great option.
We loved Essouaira, and were helped by the fact that the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating, suggesting restaurants and sites to visit, they were really lovely. (Check out La Petite Perle and Laayonne for really nice, cheap traditional Moroccan food including tagines, salads and couscous- turn left out of the Riad, go to the end of the road an take another left - follow the road found past the carpet stalls and the restaurants are on your left.)
Would definitely recommend this as a very reasonably priced option to families, couples and people travelling alone - the area is safe, right in the Medina on a main street and near to nice restaurants, the Souk, some lovely silver jewellery and leather goods shops, and only about a 5 minute walk from the beaches and bus station.
The only drawback is that if your room faces onto the street then it can be a little loud, the night life carries on until quite late, but if there were availability I'm sure the staff would allow you to move rooms, i.e. if you had children who needed to sleep.
