Poor service from management
The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are large. Restaurants and pubs close by, along all other shops. But that's where the positives end.
The rooms are worn, very worn. And you don't get cleaning until you ask for it.
But the biggest problem was when the electricity went out in the apartment. We only had electricity in a couple of sockets in the kitchen and the bathroom. Nothing in the living room and bedroom. This wasn't fixed until after we had checked out. When I asked for a refund, I got a response from the reception that I had to ask for it by email, since it was the management who could give it to me and not the staff. When I did so, it was an absolute refusal. They said I hadn't expressed my dissatisfaction strongly enough, so clearly I must had been satisfied with the circumstances, was the answer I got. So remember to raise your voice and feel free to make a scene, if there's something you have to complain about. If You are polite and calm, You're obviously satisfied.
But it must be pointed out, that when the hotel wouldn't give me a refund, Hotels.com gave me voucer for my next trip with them. Cred to them.
