Pros:
- Very quiet hotel, beautiful property. Room was in a great location away from other rooms. Chairs placed throughout the property with beautiful views - my favorite spot was the one on the hill looking out at the ocean.
-Large room with big tv, sink, fridge, microwave, and free water bottles.
-dog friendly hotel
Cons:
-Bathroom dated and cramped. Mold on the ceilings, no fan. Hot water smelled like sulfur during showers, not pleasant.
-Floor was not mopped well enough and turned our feet black
-Of the two beds, the King mattress was noticeably harder and more uncomfortable than the smaller bed.
-The property is dog friendly but there's a lot of burrs in the grass. We were pulling them out of our dog's paws after every walk. Although nature isn't a fault of the hotel, we would have loved to see a designated potty spot cleared free of burrs.
Overall, we loved the peacefullness and the space, but the price point is hard to justify for a hotel without a few extra perks. Some additions like free breakfast and a designated dog relief area would help make it worth the cost.
Would we stay here again? Maybe. Definitely falls in the middle.
