It pains me to leave this review because I wanted to like this place. The hotel itself is nice, Kendra at the check-in is lovely, rooms are large and clean, the pool and the jacuzzi are great with real spring water, but this review is due to the way the hotel handled my issue. Lack there of, to be exact.
I came here for a night to rest and relax but it was impossible. You can hear everything, stomping, talking - everything, the walls are super thin. If you’re a light sleeper like me, that is a huge dealbreaker. I couldn’t sleep because of the loud stomping of the people above me back and forth from 10pm until 2am. Even after I expressed my concern to the overnight hotel staff, they said they couldn’t move me and didn’t offer a solution besides opening the pool (which I’m not sure what I would do there at 1:30am), even though the hotel didn’t seem sold out. I had to endure that loud stomping until 2am and then again at 8am the next day, and wasn’t able to get any rest that I came for. The hotel management didn’t acknowledge my complaint at all and made it seem like it was not a big deal. It’s a big deal for someone who paid $200 to get no rest. An upsetting experience.
