We got upgraded to a suite which came with some nice perks: free minibar, big terrace, a lot of space. There was a kettle/coffee machine and free water bottles. The toiletries were provided as well, more available upon request. Unfortunately the room was terribly cold as heating was only working as a cooler and there was no possibility to even switch the bathroom ventillation off. The huge room would have been a wonderful add-on but if it’s cold, the bigger room, the colder it is. Even if it was a suite, there was no iron. Maybe it was available upon request but we didn’t have time to waste as we only had one full day in Bukhara.
Breakfast was great in 99%, the only complaint goes to the bread selection, mostly super old and dry like stone, pre-cut and very oddly served. Otherwise a good selection of food and even coffee was good, which isn’t that obvious in Uzbekistan.
Spa area is beautiful and the pool water temperature is pleasant. There are no instructions next to the sauna/hammam how to use it (there are some rules at the spa entrance) and which temperatures are inside, therefore the guests who were there used it in such a disgusting way that we lost desire to go there as well (no towels, no shower after sauna, going with all the sweat directly to the pool etc.). After they left and we remained alone, even if there was still 1 hour until the closing, both facilities were switched off, probably due to savings.
I would definitely go back but only during a warm season.
